When you order a tuber from us, we guarantee that it has been grown here at our tiny 2-acre farm for at least one year.  We do not sell imports.  Some of our varieties are extremely limited.

Shipping:

We will combine shipping on more than one order, just be sure to email us with the combined order numbers, and select "farm pick up" on your subsequent orders.  Shipping will happen in the spring, after the danger of frost.  You will receive an email when your package has been shipped.  We use flat-rate boxes from Canada Post or courier using UPS or Purolator.  The cost is usually around $25. 

 

Receiving your tubers:

Please inspect your tubers right away.  If there is any problem with them, you must notify us within 48 hours and we will do our part to rectify the situation. After that, they are your responsibility.  We guarantee a viable tuber with one eye.   Please note that certain varieties can take a longer time to sprout an eye.  Tubers come in all shapes and sizes.  Sometimes ends are cut off too.  As long as there is an unbroken neck, a crown and an eye, it should produce a beautiful plant for you!

Viruses and diseases:

Unfortunately, dahlias are prone to disease and viruses.  We do our very best to inspect for signs of disease and cull these plants. We are very strict with disinfecting between cutting flowers and dividing tubers.  If you have a problem with your tuber within the first 48 hours, please let us know.  We do not guarantee against disease throughout the growing season since disease can spread through soil, sucking insects or infected shears. 

 

 Selling a living thing can be tricky. Sometimes tubers rot or freeze in storage. It can be hard to estimate quantities.  We do our best to ensure that only our best will get shipped out.  With pre-sales it is possible that the variety you wanted didn't survive storage or didn't eye up as it was expected to.  In that case, you will be offered a replacement or a refund.  Please be kind in understanding this.
